OUR VALUE PROPOSITION

We do not simply teach people about difficult situations. We put them into them.

Through high-immersion simulations, participants enter realistic, high-pressure situations involving cultural difference, uncertainty, conflict, technological disruption and competing interests. They must communicate, influence and decide as the environment responds—then use focused feedback to adapt and perform again.

Four principles shape every GSL experience.

EXPERIENCE BEFORE THEORY

Participants encounter realistic situations, make decisions under pressure and experience the consequences of their choices. Theory is introduced where it helps explain what happened—and immediately tested in practice.

06_reality-over-abstraction

REALITY OVER ABSTRACTION

Scenarios develop through human interaction, uncertainty and resistance. The environment responds to the participant rather than forcing everyone through a predetermined script.

07_performance-over-knowledge

PERFORMANCE OVER KNOWLEDGE

Understanding is not the endpoint. Participants must communicate, decide, influence and adapt—and demonstrate what changes when the situation is attempted again.

PRIVATE & CONFIDENTIAL BY DESIGN

Sessions are confidential, live and unrecorded. Participants can test judgement, expose weaknesses and improve without carrying those mistakes into the real situation.

Malcolm Patrick McCluskey

Founder & Principal

Malcolm founded Global SIM Labs following a career spanning international institutions, political consultancy, global investment, international business and executive development.

As a former Senior Coach with the Financial Times and Nikkei, he has worked internationally with senior professionals and executives across cultures, industries and organisational environments. 

His academic background includes Cambridge Judge Business School, the London School of Economics, Edinburgh Business School and further academic experience at MIT.

At launch, every GSL simulation is delivered personally by Malcolm—preserving consistency from preparation and live performance through feedback and targeted rerun.
